Cards for Cancer

We had a program last night for our building, and we made cards for children with cancer. They were all so creative and said such thoughtful things. We were so pleased with the number of residents who made cards that we’ve decided to have a Part Two! Anyway, this was one of my favorite cards from last night. I’m not sure who made it, she didn’t leave a name. She free-handed it on plain white paper. I โ™ฅ Giraffes.

Again, this is not my work, so please do not take them without permission. Thank you!
I hope this inspires you to do something nice for someone you don’t know ๐Ÿ™‚
Destination: Qatar

I babysat some children from Qatar over the summer. They were evil at times, but the way they spoke Arabic was always soo cute. I love the way they say ‘ana’. I never thought I’d say I miss babysitting. I’d probably sit different kids, though. Children are just so delightful; I love spending time with them. Anyway, we had some students from the Qatari campus visit us last week. The hummus was delicious, and they brought a live camel over for the day! It was awesome. Makes me even more excited about wanting to study abroad.
