we’re fated to pretend

He just stands with his toes on the edge
And he waits for it to disappear again

there’s way too much bad shit in this world

and i’ve already said that a number of times before
but all the fakes and liars are being revealed in time
and i can’t help but be shocked every time i see that someone is not who they seem.
and honestly, it bothers me.
i mostly keep to myself nowadays because from what i know, no one else is real.
sad truthh.

  1. I believe you're real. As many times as I've been let down by people or shocked by their behavior or words, I continue to believe there are good hearted souls out there. Rare, but it exists. People have all sorts of sides to themselves, just because you begin discovering some of them doesn't mean they didn't exist before. iA khair whatever is bothering you won't for very long ❤

  2. Thinking the best of people is nice…but it's not always the reality of the situation…I had lots of friends in college who were one way to my face and different behind my back. They also did things i didn't expect. The good news is, it has nothing to do with you. And if you don't feel that people are representing themselves or you well…then you can drop them! I had to let go of a lot of my girlfriends because they were not respecting themselves. I'm sorry you've had to meet people who were one way to your face and another way elsewhere.it's annoying when people act like they care when they don't.

    love you.

  3. Genuine people in this world are extremely hard to come by. When you are as jaded as I am, you slowly become suspicious of everyone…but there are ones who are worthy out there. They just need to work harder to earn your trust. I think the worst “friends” I have had have taught me so much about life and trust…and how I want to be treated. There is nothing wrong with dropping someone who is poisonous to you…it isn't worth losing yourself over.
keep your head up and remember what is most important to you. The right people will come your way 🙂
