I have such great friends, alhumdullilah. i’m so happy i’ve gotten to meet so many amazing people throughout my life. I always talk about my hometown to my college friends, so much that they probably know each of my friends just by hearing my stories about them. Aileen and I were talking the other day and we were just remembering summer and thinking about how much our group of friends hung out and how lucky we are to have such close friends. She mentioned that she doesn’t know any other group that hung out every day and we’re both just really thankful that we have one another! It’s so true that you can get through anything with a close friend. Anytime I had to go through something tough, my friends were always there for me. Sometimes you don’t know how much you’ve impacted someone else’s life. You may have thought you were just good company, but for someone else you may have been their lifesaver.

Here are two nice things that were said to me in the past week by good friends:

“When i moved here, I thought you were the most magical thing I had ever seen. I just sat back and watched.” (Nadiah)

“You’re so utterly intelligent and you so very maturely carry yourself everywhere you go. Honestly, you’ll go sooooooo far in life inshallah. You have something that some people spend forever trying to embrace.” (Sarah)

i’ll never need more than this đŸ™‚

i get lost everywhere i go. including the library! i love the library. i took this picture of our endless bookshelves.
